How It All Got Started
My own journey of self-care has guided me to becoming a mala jewelry designer. It empowers me to be creative and is a great way for me to de-stress. I started the store with less than 10 products and began connecting with so many people about their desire and love of metaphysical healing. Since then, it has expanded to the store that is today. I love being a maker; it’s a spiritual and meditative experience that is also very rewarding.

Inspirations and Design Process
Everyday has a different energy and I will be drawn towards particular beads. Sometimes, a colour pattern creates a season or mood. At other times, using different combinations represent specific colour patterns of nature (for example: flower theme, forest, lake, or earth).
As you can see, my design process is pretty organic which allows me to be creative in so many different ways.

What are Mala Beads?
Mala beads are a string of beads traditionally used in prayer and meditation. They can be made from gemstones that match the intention of your practice.
While malas are often used to help count mantras during meditation, many people choose to use their mala in contexts outside of seated meditation. It’s also common to wearing a mala as a bracelet or necklace to help keep your affirmations or intentions with you throughout the day. People may also choose to carry their mala in a mala bag that is kept in a pocket or purse as another way of keeping their practice with them as they move through their lives.
